B&T INSPIRATION LOUNGE

MERCADO DESIGN DAYS 2025

B&T Inspiration Lounge became a warm meeting point where inspiration and discovery came

together at the first encounter of Mercado Design Days. This space, where new ideas were shared

and sincere dialogues were established, transformed into an experience where design touched

hyman life.

At Mercado Stage, speakers from both global and local creative fields shared inspiring insights. 3D

designer Vincent Schwenk, audiovisual artist Boris Acket, shoe designer Safa Şahin, fashion

designer and entrepreneur Ece Gözen, and other notable names created a rich atmosphere on stage

with their unique storytelling.

The event was not just an exhibition; it became a space where inspiration was shared. Visitors were

invited to feel, touch, and spend time with design.

The Pod: Tri and Quad, made their first appearance here with the signature of Japanese designer

Jin Kuramoto. With their soft curves, balanced proportions, and cross-cultural language, the Pod

seamlessly blended with the atmosphere of the space, creating a silent yet powerful impact.

Inspired by the light of Istanbul, the rhythm of its streets, and its cultural layers, Jin Kuramoto

designed Tri and Quad not only as aesthetic objects but as livable experiences. B&T Inspiration

Lounge transformed this experience into a space where everyone could sit, feel, and share.

B&T Inspiration Lounge made inspiration visible, tangible, and shareable at the first encounter of

Mercado Design Days. The story of Pod, which began here, continues to live wherever design

meets people.
