From the 15th to the 17th of September, Isola Space Pop-Up took place in the Mayor's Parlour at Shoreditch Town Hall, as part of Shoreditch Design Week during London Design Festival. 

Designed by Alp Nuhoğlu, Metric formed an open meeting point in the pop-up's lounge area.

A place to pause, wait, talk, or simply observe what was unfolding. 

Metric begins from moments like these. It leaves room for every encounter to find its own form. 

That afternoon, the words for Metric kept changing: plush, playful, secure, forward-thinking, together.

One person noticed they could have a moment of their own, even while sitting next to someone. 

Everyone said something different, but it all led to the same place: each person found their own way with Metric. 

Over three days, Metric became a shared ground where people came together.
